Early Childhood Special Education Services
The Child Find team provides screenings and/or evaluations for children ages 2 to 5 years of age suspected of having a developmental delay or disability. Free to parents who live in Alexandria City
Special Education Parent Resource Center
The Anne R. Lipnick Special Education Parent Resource Center helps helps parents become partners in their child's education. Focusing on the child's needs, we help parents to be advocates for their children and establish cooperative partnerships between families and schools.
Specialized Education Process
A child may be referred by any of the following people:
- Parent/legal guardian
- Family member or friend
- Physician
- ITC-PIE staff
- Childcare provider
- Community agency
- School personnel
